Sad news first: the new self-titled 5 track EP holds the last songs that you will ever hear from Ambrose.

During their 3 years of existence, Ambrose from Karlsruhe, Germany created two timeless and beautiful albums full of moving tracks that fluctuated between euphoria and melancholy and will surely be playing in their fan's hearts forever.

While we are all saddened by this news, it is hardly shocking, their career was a roller coaster ride through countless band member changes and personal conflicts, which seem almost unavoidable when such talented musicians work together.

In the end it was singer/ guitarist/ songwriter Oliver Scheib, the only constant band member over the years, who in the midst of the recording the third album decided to put an end to this chapter of Ambrose.

What remains are those beautiful last songs to be heard on this self titled EP, that once more prove the extraordinary song-writing and singing talent of Oliver Scheib, and the hope that this young man will return with a new project soon.

"Hope is on the way..." he sings at the beginning of the opener "In every word." We should not take his word for granted.
