Fangs are from Glasgow Scotland. their style draws from rock, electro,and new wave. Fangs meet in Glasgow Scotland 2008, their aim is simple...deliver no-wave dirty disco direct to the dancefloor.
The 4 members were already established within the Glasgow music and club scene when spotted playing at a house party by members of Glasgow bands Sons and Daughters, Franz Ferdinand and 1990s.
On recomendation Fangs immediatly toured the UK on a tripple bill of Sons and Daughters, Black Kids and Fangs.
Fangs have played shows with PUBLIC IMAGE LTD, JUSTICE, SANTIGOLD, THE PRESETS, SONS AND DAUGHTERS and played at the European release of the acclaimed new wave movie KILL YOUR IDOLS.
They've Headlined shows in PARIS, BERLIN, LONDON, NY, LA and BARCELONA as well as Festivals SXSW, T in The Park and BBC stages at Reading and Leeds, their records are played by DJs from Andrew Weatherall to Erol Alkan.
Fangs have just signed with French indie heavyweight fighters Platinum Records.
