TALCO, the successful Italian ska-punk band from Marghera/Venice, Italy, which was founded in 2000/2001, is back! At first in an acoustic/unplugged version of theirs: TALCO MASKERADE is the same members from Talco with a new masked all-acoustic project.

Influenced by punk and folk and especially by ska influences, the Italians Talco have been creating danceable up-tempo numbers with their "blown rock music" since the beginning of the millennium, with partly socially critical lyrics - completely in Italian, of course.

However, the band is keen to ensure that their lyrics are understood internationally, which is why the booklets of the albums contain an English translation for each song.

The band itself describes their fast Ska with Punkappeal as Punkchanka or Combat Ska with origins and influences of bands like Ska-P, Mano Negra, Gogol Bordello but also elements and influences of modern Balkan beats and Italian folk music.

Now TALCO MASKERADE is the 2021 folk acoustic soul of TALCO. The album is called LOCKTOWN and will be released on 19th of February, 2021.
