Introducing The Bongolian - a new project by Nasser Bouzida, the main man from Blow Up Records' Big Boss Man.

This is Nasser in his element, taking us on a musical journey of dirty bongo driven Funk and spaced-out Latin Soul - all 100% Heavy Bongo Vibes.

Since it's release tracks have appeared on several European compilations, as well as 'Bongohead' being used as a soundbed on Radio 1, and 'Merve Plays Vibes' featuring on a Wella Haircare advert.

Written, arranged, performed and produced by Nasser at his home studio over the last year and recorded on analogue 8 track.

Mixed by Nasser and Nick Terry (Ian Brown, Libertines, McAlmont & Butler). Please note, this album contains NO SAMPLES, the groove just sounds that good! In 2003 Nasser put together a live band for The Bongolian and has been touring UK and Europe extensively with dates in France, Germany and Spain.

Whilst appealing to the Big Boss Man fanbase, The Bongolian has also found a wider appeal with dance, hip-hop, rare grooves and funky 45s fans.
