SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY & ASBURY
HEARTS OF STONE (MUSIC ON VINYL)
'Hearts of Stone'is the third album by New Jersey R&B band Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, originally released in 1978.
With this album The Jukes made sure that their contribution to the music of the Jersey Shore would never be forgotten.
Some people call it the best album Bruce Springsteen never recorded. Springsteen did however write the title track and the radio-friendly 'Talk To Me', and is credited along with Southside Johnny Lyon and Steve Van Zandt on 'Trapped Again'.
Steve Van Zandt, who departed the Jukes shortly after the release of this album to join The E Street Band, takes solo credit for the remaining six tracks.
Music on Vinyl now rereleases this gem on 180-grams audiophile vinyl.
