LUSHES stream new Song "Circus", album "Service Industry" will be released on October 16!

"(T)aller and louder than the 2014 debut in every way." - Tiny Mix Tapes

On their new album "Service Industry" LUSHES ask themselves why, in modern society , we are living our lives in that one specific way - and they are doing it rawer, noisier and more guitar-driven than ever before.

"Service Industry" was produced by SONIC YOUTH-engineer Aaron Mullan at Echo Canyon and questions the present norms of society with " measured post-rock that inspires apathy in a forgiving way" (Pitchfok). Not only does the duo handle the absurdities of everyday life, LUSHES' diverse influences, when it comes to musical education, have a great impact on the record as well. Thus singer and guitarist James Ardery grew up to punk and rap, drummer Joel Myers on the other hand grew up solely to classical music. This tension building mixture results in LUSHES' unique, explosive sound, which always stays balanced. Additionally the duo convinced several fellow-musicians to contribute to their album: Zs frontman Sam Hillmer plays the saxophone on the track "Circus", PC WORSHIP's Justin Frye can be heard on "You Only Have", also Parquet Courts sound engineer and EATERS-member Jonathan Schenke participated in the making of "Service Industries".

On September 16 "Service Industries" will be released via Felte Records. You can already listen to their new track "Circus" below. Also, Lushes just announced European tour dates!
