Experimental - Ambient - Tribal Ambient Mathias Delplanque was born in 1973 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

He lives and works in Nantes and cultivates close links with the spheres of ambient, electronic, electro-acoustic and concrete music as well as dub and field recording.

A rather elusive character, discreet but prolific, who can be found in the credits of dDamage or Ghislain Poirier's records as well as behind the mixing board for Charlélie Couture, when he doesn't have fun under the name of Lena releasing fabulous minimal dub albums on excellent labels such as Belgian Quatermass.Mathias Delplanque is also known for his ex- cursions as well as for his collaborations with various musicians using traditional instruments: the Korean E'Joung-Ju (geomungo player in the Keda duo), or the Nazairian François Robin (veuze, duduk and mizmar player).
