OVERVIEW: The Shins' 2001 album Oh, Inverted World was one of that years' most exciting debuts. Glowing press came in from all directions from the likes of Rolling Stone, Spin (editor's pick of the year), Entertainment Weekly, Mojo (#14 album of the year), Gear, Time Out New York, NPR, John Peel and so many more.

To date, Oh, Inverted World has sold over 100,000 copies. The new album, Chutes Too Narrow, has been critically acclaimed and places the Shins firmly in the upper echelons of the independent music pantheon while continuing to expand into mainstream culture.

Reviews and features on this album are too abundant to mention, but highlights include appearances on "The Late Show with David Letterman" and features in Mojo, the New York Times, Entertainment Weekly and Rolling Stone.

The CD single contains one album track and two exclusive b-sides and a video. Chutes Too Narrow has sold over 175,000 in the US and over 8,000 in the UK.
