[DEU] Nach zwölf Jahren, in denen sie ein Garage Freakout Album nach dem nächsten abgeliefert haben, werden Vulgar und seine Crew von HUMAN EYE endlich auch im Mainstream wahrgenommen - was sie schon lange verdienen.

Kürzlich nahmen sie am Scion Garage Fest teil und spielten eine große Rolle in der vom Vice produzierten Garage Dokumentation "New Garage Explosion".

Vulgar wurde darüber hinaus mit dem bedeutenden Kresge Stipendium der Stadt Detroit für sein Talent als Multimedia Künstler geehrt.

Die Liveshows von HUMAN EYE fahren gewöhnlich elaborate Kostüme und Requisiten auf. Lampinen entwirft nicht nur die Kunst auf Album und Bühne, sondern dreht auch seine eigenen Videos.

Auf ihrem dritten Album als HUMAN EYE bekommt Timmy Gesellschaft von Johnny Lzr an den Keyboards, Hurricane William an Saxophon und Percussion und Brad Hales am Bass.

"It Came From The Sky" widmet sich weiterhin dem Leben im Weltraum, Alien/Mensch Beziehungen und Horrorfilmen, die durch psychedelischen Punk gefiltert werden.

After twelve years of churning out record after record of perfect garage freak-out, Vulgar and crew are finally getting a bit of the mainstream recognition they deserve; they recently participated in the Scion Garage Fest and were also heavily featured in the Vice produced garage documentary, "New Garage Explosion." Vulgar was also awarded the prestigious Kresge fellowship from the city of Detroit last year for his unparalleled skill as a multi-media artist.

Their live shows frequently involve elaborate costumes and props; Lampinen not only designs all of his own onstage and album art, but also directs and edits his own videos.

On this their 3rd full length as Human Eye, Timmy is joined by his mainstays Johnny Lzr on keys, Hurricane William on sax and percussion and Brad Hales on bass.

On It Came From the Sky the band continue to explore the themes of inter-planetary life and travel, aliens/ human relationships and horror films while filtered through an unhinged psychedelic punk juggernaut.
