SYL (Strapping Young Lad). Vancouver, Canadá. Founded in 1994 by Devin Townsend, the soul of the machine, the mastermind.

In 2004, SYL released this live concert at the Commodore venue, in their home city of Vancouver, with the classic and fantastic line up formed by Gen Hoglan (drums), Byron Stroud (bass) and Jed Simon (guitars).

At the time of this phenomenal live show, SYL was performing on tour their, by that time, new 2003 album called 'SYL'.

(so you will find the 4 initial tracks played in the same order as the album tracklist), including a total of 7 tracks from that album with hammercrushing riffs from 'Aftermath, 'Devour' or 'Force Fed'.

Extreme, hilarious, original, fresh, funny, dark and heavy... all what heavy music should be it's on this recording.
