RESTORATIONS
LP2 (SIDE ONE DUMMY)
Philadelphia punk band RESTORATIONS are happy to announce the release of their highly anticipated full-length album "LP2" on SideOneDummy Records.
Drawing from a vast range of musical influences, "LP2" finds RESTORATIONS at their very best.
Expanding upon their diverse sound, the band also introduces a more aggressive tone to the mix.
From the straight-ahead onslaught of "Kind Of Comfort" to the folk-infused "The Plan" and rhythm-heavy opening track "D," the result is a refreshingly honest collection that appeals to a variety of fans, capturing the raw, frenetic energy of the band's live performance.
RESTORATIONS first appeared on tastemaker's radars with their 2010 four-song EP "Strange Behavior" and made a lasting impression with their 2011 self-titled full-length debut.
The band's follow-up 7" "A/B" was on just about everyone's best of 2012 list and with good reason: AMP Magazine called the two songs "nothing short of breathtaking" while Punk News claimed that the band now has "a sound that is all their own." RESTORATIONS is: Carlin Brown (drums) Dave Klyman (guitar/vocals) Jon Loudon (vocals/guitar) Ben Pierce (keys/guitar/vocals) Dan Zimmerman (bass) "There are many out there proclaiming RESTORATIONS to be the best band that exists today [...] and it's become pretty hard to argue with them." - AMP Magazine "RESTORATIONS is the kind of band that makes music that sounds like life is worth living." - This Is Book's Music "RESTORATIONS are surely on the cusp of something special." - Beard Rock
