Destroyer is the third solo work by DOWNFALL OF GAIAS Peter Wolff. This time he joins forces with Dutch folk singer Jens Boogaard from Knifefight and filmmaker Kai Lietzke, who already worked with Peter on the last album film "Breath"on his last album film "Breath".The urge to forget, to flee somewhere other than here and to blame anyone other than yourself.to blame other than yourself.

The album tells the story of a serious car accident that Jens Borgaard had to witness,through the eyes of the person who caused it."What began as a purely instrumental project developed into a personal narrative through the addition of vocals," says Wolff about the album.

"Destroyer" is a record that combines the dark ambient soundscapes of Peter Wolff with the deep, warm voice of Jens Borgaard and the incredible film work of Kai Lietzke, who in turn produced an entire film for the album.The combination of Jens Borgaard's traditional folk background with Peter Wolff's affinity for dark electronic music and his post-metal/crust-core influences create a mesmerising, intimidating soundscape.
